I recently had the privilege of participating in a group wellness session led by Ms. Nausheen Hammad, a trainee psychotherapist at CPCAB UK, that focused on exploring fear and hope through art materials including crayons and playdough. The session was a unique and insightful experience that helped me to identify anxieties rooted in fear and find peace rooted in hope. Through the use of art materials, I was able to express myself in a way that I had never done before, creating objects from playdough that represented hope and positivity. Ms. Nausheen Hammad was a wonderful moderator, guiding the group with sensitivity and understanding. She created a safe and non-judgmental space that allowed us to freely express ourselves without fear of judgment or criticism. I am grateful to Weeds for organizing such a valuable wellness program and for the opportunity to be a part of it. Ms. Nausheen Hammad’s commitment to confidentiality and anonymity helped me to feel comfortable sharing my personal reflections with the group. Overall, it was an incredibly positive experience that helped me to gain greater self-awareness and find hope and peace in challenging times.”
